BLAKE PRITCHARD TAKES THIRD PLACE AT 2021 EMPIRE 8 CHAMPIONSHIPS

Baldwinsville, NY—Russell Sage College's men's golf team wrapped up competition on Sunday at the 2021 Empire 8 Golf Championship. The two-day event was held at Timber Banks Country Club, a par 72 6,739 yard course.  Utica won the team championship as they posted a two-day score of 634.

For the Gators , senior Blake Pritchard (Malone, NY/Franklin Academy) posted his best career finish at the Empire 8 Championships  as he took third place with a two-day score of 155 (78-77). He was just four strokes behind the medalist, Josh Kienz of Utica who carded a151 (73-78).

Junior Aidan O'Neil (Canajoharie, NY/Canajoharie) finished tied for 14^th with a 168 (82-86).  

Junior Stuart Phair (Canberra, Australia/Trinity Christian School) finished in 20^th with a 175 (89-86) and senior Ethan Peters (Hudson, NY/Hudson) had a 260 to take 34^th place (135-125).
