Albany, NY — The Russell Sage College men's basketball games scheduled for March 5, 7, 9 and 12 against Houghton, Alfred, and Elmira College have been postponed. Out of an abundance of caution, the Gators are postponing following the announcement of opponent's pause due to COVID-19 related issues within its program.
Makeup dates for the men's basketball games will be announced at a later date.
The top priority of Russell Sage College throughout this pandemic has been the health and safety of the entire campus community. Sage has notified the Albany County Department of Health, and is in adherence with New York State and the College's COVID-19 protocols. The individuals who tested positive have been isolated, and appropriate Tier 1 contacts have been quarantined.
Russell Sage College Athletics has maintained strict compliance with NCAA and Empire 8 Conference adopted COVID-19 guidance, as well as local Department of Health protocols.
