Hilton, NY — Russell Sage College women's soccer team produced the Empire 8 Women's Soccer Player of the Week on April 19 for the final selection of the season. RSC's junior forward Hallie Klosterman (Modena, NY/Wallkill), who was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Women's Soccer Tournament on Saturday night, earned a spot on the Empire 8 First Team earlier today, added a selection as this week's Empire 8 Women's Soccer Player of the Week as well, her second of the year.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Hallie Klosterman, Russell Sage, Jr., F, Modena, NY/Walkill
Klosterman was named the 2021 Empire 8 Spring Women's Championship Tournament Most Valuable Player after scoring both Russell Sage goals, including the game-winner with 3:23 left in overtime on a penalty kick in a 2-1 win over Utica in the title game Saturday. Klosterman tied the game at 1-1 with 25:47 left in regulation, ripping a shot home off a feed from Lydia Malkiewicz. It is Klosterman's second E8 weekly honor of the season.
