Changes for RSC eSports program

Albany, NY — Russell Sage College's Department of Athletics has announced that eSports head coach Matt Fisher (Doylestown, PA) has resigned to pursue other opportunities, effective May 31. Fisher was hired in August of 2020 to serve as the first head coach for the newly added eSports program. A national search for a replacement will commence immediately.

Director of Athletics, Sandy Augstein-Collins noted, "We thank Matt for his work in laying the foundation for our eSports program and the assistance with the construction of our state of the art Esports room and wish him the best with his next venture."

Russell Sage College, an NCAA Division III institution, will compete as a member of the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) and will commence varsity competition during the 2021-2022 academic year.
