Hilton, NY—Russell Sage College's women's tennis team member senior Claire Connolly (Little Falls, NY/Little Falls) earned recognition on Tuesday as a member of the 2021 Empire 8 Spring Women's Tennis All-Stars.
Connolly was selected for the Gators after her strong campaign this season. Playing at third singles as a first-time performer on the team, she added a 2-4 record. She also played at No. 2 doubles for the Gators this year as well.
One member of each team was named that institution's representative on the 2019 Women's Tennis Sportswoman of the Year Team. The Empire 8 Conference emphasizes that "Competing with Honor and Integrity" is an essential component of a student-athlete's experience in conjunction with an institution's educational mission. These honorees have distinguished themselves and consistently exhibit the critical traits as outstanding sportswomen.
