RUSSELL SAGE COLLEGE WOMEN'S AND MEN'S OUTDOOR TRACK PERFORMERS HONORED BY EMPIRE 8
Hilton, NY — The Russell Sage College men's and women's outdoor and field programs had a pair of student-athletes honored on Monday with the release of the 2021 Empire 8 Outdoor Track and Field Awards. Sophomore Alyssa Fitzgerald (Queensbury, NY/Queensbury) was named to the Empire 8 Women's Outdoor Track and Field Sportswoman Team and senior Arnoldo Burnett (Bronx, NY/John F. Kennedy) was named to the Empire 8 Men's Outdoor Track and Field Sportsman Team.
One member of each team was named that institution's representative on the 2021 Women's Outdoor Track & Field Sportswoman of the Year Team. The Empire 8 Conference emphasizes that "Competing with Honor and Integrity" is an essential component of a student-athlete's experience in conjunction with an institution's educational mission. These honorees have distinguished themselves and consistently exhibit the critical traits as outstanding sportswomen.
