Hilton, NY — Russell Sage College's men's basketball team wrapped their 2020-2021 season having earned a spot in the Empire 8 tournament and fell in the semifinals, 66-63 to top seeded St. John Fisher College. The Empire 8 announced the All-Tournament Team picks and RSC's junior Amani Cummings (Brooklyn, NY/Transit Tech) earned a spot on the squad. The Gators finished the season with a record of 4-6 and collected a first-round tournament victory over Keuka College, 79-58.

For the two games, Cummings had 32 points including a team-best 18 points in the semifinal loss to SJFC. He added 14 points against Keuka and finished the tournament with a 16.0 ppg and 4.0 rebounds per game average. He shot an impressive 54.5% from the floor (12-22) and hit 50.0% of his three-point shots having made six-of-12 shots from three-point range. He added seven assists and five steals in the two games.

An Empire 8 Honorable Mention pick this season, Cummings finished his junior season with a 15.1 ppg and 2.4 rpg average. He started all 10 games and hit 50.0% of his shots from the floor (56-112), while also adding 28 assists with 13 steals.
