Hallie Klosterman

At Sage:

• Hallie Klosterman arrived at Sage as a newcomer to the 2018 Gator lineup.
• She helped the Gators earn a spot in the 2018 Empire 8 Playoffs.
• Klosterman collected 15 points, the highest of the 2018 Gator rookies. She was 1-1 on penalty kicks as well and played in all 19 games with six starts.
• As a sophomore with the team in 2019, she played in 15 matches with 13 starts. She chipped in 6 points on 2 goals with 2 assists.
• As a junior with the Gators, she earned two selections as the Empire 8 Women’s Soccer Player of the Week.
• She capped the year earning Most Outstanding Player of the Empire 8 Women’s Soccer Championship after adding two goals in the championship game, including the game-winning penalty kick.
• Klosterman was also honored with a spot on the Empire 8 First Team All-Conference at forward as well as earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team.
• She brings 32 career points into her fourth campaign with the Gators having played in 41 games with 26 starts. Klosterman has tallied 11 career goals with 10 assists and is currently tied for the No. 17 spot on Sage’s career assist list.
  

Academics at Sage:

• She is majoring in health sciences with a path physical therapy at Sage.
• She is a Deans’ List student and has earned multiple selections the Empire 8 Presidents’ List as well as the Sage Scholar-Athlete Team.
• Klosterman was also named the recipient of 2019 Spring Trustee Excellence Scholarship and the O’Connor Foundation Scholarship for excellent achievement in the classroom.
  

High School:

• A graduate of Wallkill Senior High School, Klosterman was a highly decorated performer in both soccer and track and field.
• A varsity performer for four years in soccer, she had the game-winning goal to take her high school into the MHAL Tournament. She backed up her rookie season with an all-state selection and was the team’s leading goal scorer and earned Offensive MVP honors.
• As a junior, she was also again the team’s Offensive MVP and leading goal scorer and earned all-star acclaim.
• She capped her scholastic career having earned four straight MHAL Scholar-Athlete Awards, while serving as a team captain. Kloserman was also honored with all-star, all-section, and all-state honors and was tapped at the team’s Offensive MVP.
• In track, she was also a four year letterwinner and honored as the team MVP and a captain as a senior.
• An accomplished student, she earned numerous awards and honors including acclaim as a member of the Wind Ensemble. She served as Vice President of the National Honor Society and was recognized as one of Wallkill's Honors Athletes.

Personal:

• She is the daughter of James and Birgit Klosterman, both of whom work at SUNY-New Paltz.
