2024-2025 marks the ninth season for Kevin Cain leading the men's golf team and the fourth as the head women's golf coach. In August 2020, RSC added women's golf as a varsity program and began competition in 2021-22.

He helped the Gators' men's golf program transition from the Skyline Conference to the Empire 8 Conference, and has coached multiple All-Conference performers including: 2019-20 E8 Rookie of the Year Connor Affinito, and three-time All-E8 selection Blake Pritchard.

A 2002 graduate of Wingate University, Cain was a four-year letterwinner for the Bulldogs.
