The Golf Course
Colonie Golf & Country Club features 18 holes of golf with a view and a layout that will calm the nerves and quiet the passions of the most casual golfers, yet will challenge the most avid golfer. The 6,847 yard, par 72 course, with a 74.1 course rating and a 133 slope rating places a strong emphasis on playability.

Head Golf Professional, Frank Mellet
Our head professional, Frank Mellet, is simply the best club professional in the game. His list of credentials includes:
- Member of the NENY PGA Hall of Fame
- Multi-time Vardon Trophy winner for lowest scoring average in the
NENY PGA section
- 2011 Player of the Year in the section
- 2012 PGA Professional of the Year in the section
Frank also qualified to play, and played in, the 2011 US Senior Open at Inverness. He was recognized in Golf Digest's Top Teachers in 2000, 2003,
and 2007, as well as Golf Magazine's Top Teachers in 2003 and 2007.
Frank and his pro-shop staff assure all members' needs from lessons, to tee times, to club fittings, are readily met.
