Robert Martin saluted as Empire 8 Co-Player of the Week
Hilton, NY —Sage's sophomore attacker Robert Martin (Saugerties, NY/Saugerties) was honored on Monday afternoon with a selection as the Empire 8 Men's Lacrosse Co-Player of the Week. The selection was the first of the year for the Gators attackman who leads the team in every offensive category this spring. He helped the team to a 1-1 week after beating Cazenovia and dropping a match to Hood College, while in Virginia last week.
Released on March 16, 2020 for games played from March 9-March 15. It is the 28th Empire 8 weekly honors release of the 2019-20 season.

CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Robert Martin, Sage, So., A, Saugerties, NY/Saugerties
Martin scored 10 goals in a pair of contests last week, including the game-winner in a victory over Cazenovia. He added five ground balls as well. Martin scored six times in a win over Cazenovia and added four more goals versus Hood College. He now holds Sage's career marks with 44 goals, 37 assists and 81 points. He leads the Gators in scoring during the 2020 season with 25 goals and 28 points.
