Pittsford, NY— The Sage Colleges' men's cross country program travelled to the campus of St. John Fisher College to compete at the 2019 Empire 8 Championships. The Men's Championship went to Utica College in a tight race as only seven points seperated the Top three teams. Utica had a score of 49, just beating Nazareth with a 51 and Houghton College with a score of 56. Sage was an incomplete squad.

Sage's men's team was incomplete in the race. Sage junior Holden Maynard (Schenectady, NY/Mohanasen) finished in 21st place with a time of 28:28.1 in his first Empire 8 Championship race.

The team will be back in action on November 16 competing at the NCAA Regionals on the campus of St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY.
