After playing Houghton to a scoreless first half, Sage's junior forward Griffin Goodemote (Broadalbin, NY/Broadalbin Perth) scored what would be the game-winner on a pass from sophomore Christian Vaalstuen (Lillestrom, Norway) and sophomore Kevin Winglosky (Shodack, NY/Ichabod Crane) to keep the Gators' season alive. The goal is the fourth of the season for Goodemote and his 2nd game-winner this fall.
Sage's sophomore goalkeeper Lucas Bourdeau (Castleton-on-Hudson, NY/Maple Hill) made four saves in earning the shutout win as he is 9-8 this fall and the Gators have had four shutouts along the way.
