Maynard represents Sage at James Early Invitational

Westfield, MA— The Sage Colleges' men's cross country team travelled to the James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State University on Saturday at Stanley Park. Sage's men's team was incomplete at the race.

In the women's varsity 5 k race, Trinity College (CT) won the team title with a score of 74, while Sage settled for a 16th place finish with a score of 424.  In the men's 8 k race, Trinity (CT) won the race as well with an impressive score of 15 having swept the top five place finishers in the event.

Sage's men's team was incomplete in the race. Sage junior Holden Maynard (Schenectady, NY/Mohanasen) finished in69th place with his time of 28:28.68.

Sage's teams will be back in action on November 2 competing at the 2019 Empire 8 Championship at St. John Fisher College.
