Albany, NY – With the release of the latest NCAA Division III women's basketball statistics, Sage's senior Gessica Patregnani (Troy, NY/Lansingburgh) is the national leader in the category. She has been the national leader since December 7. Patregnani leads the nation with her impressive 67.50 three-point field goal percentage. On the season, she has made 27 of 40 three pointers. She is also ranked 98th nationally with her 2.45 three pointers per game average, while standing 100th with her 27 made three-pointers.

A senior on the Sage women's basketball team, the tri-captain is also making her climb in the Gator career record book. Patregnani now has 611 career points with 134 career three-point baskets. She is currently fourth all-time at Sage in career three-pointers made and is 15th in appearances having played in 88 games as a Gator.  This season she has a 10.9 ppg average with 11 starts under her belt. As a team, Sage is ranked third nationally in team three-point field goal percentage as well with a 41.2%, which also leads the Empire 8. All told, through 11 games, Sage has made 49-of-119 three pointers. The Gators are also ranked 65th nationally with 29.8 defensive rebounds per game and 57th in rebounds per game as well with a 44.64 rebounds per game average.

Senior forward Megan Flynn (Hoosick Falls, NY/Hoosick Falls Central) is ranked nationally as well in several categories as she is 35th in rebounds per game (11.4), while her 125 rebounds is ranked 40th. She is also 39th with her 7.5 defensive rebounds per game average, while her 3.5 offensive rebounds per game average ranks 61st. Flynn, who was selected as the Empire 8 women's basketball player of the week on December 9, checks in with 634 career points, while adding 517 rebounds. She surpassed Kelly Murphy for the No. 8 spot in rebounding (516, 1999-2002) this past Saturday. She has 10 career double-doubles. Earlier this season, she had a double-double with a Sage single-game record for 25 rebounds, while adding 24 points. She also tied the Empire 8 single-game rebounding mark as well in the Gators' 87-84 win over Westfield State on December 7. Flynn is averaging 11.2 ppg this season with a team-best 11.4 rpg, which ranks second in the Empire 8. She is an 11-game starter this year and has now played in 70 games at Sage with 58 starts.

Sage's graduate player Kaitlyn Bowman (Chateaugay, NY/Saranac), this week's Empire 8 Women's Basketball Player of the Week, is also among the national leaders as well in five categories. Bowman owns a 10.5 ppg average this year with a 7.2 rpg average. She stands 26th in free throws attempted this year (55), while standing 34th in made free throws (79), both of which also lead the Empire 8. She is 69th with her 4.2 assists per game average and 74th with 46 assists on the season. She is also ranked in the Top 200 players with her 5.7 defensive rebounds per game average. Against Suffolk on January 4, Bowman was 5-6 from the floor and 4-4 from the line in the first half. In the second half, Bowman was 4-5 from the floor, while making 15 trips to the free throw line and making 11 of them with 19 second half points for the Gators.  The 33 points scored by Bowman in the Suffolk game is the most this season for an Empire 8 player on the 2019-2020 season and marks the fourth time in Sage women's basketball history a player has scored 33 or more points. On the week, she averaged 19.3 ppg and 9.67 rpg.

Sage's Bowman surpassed the 800 career point plateau on Saturday as she checks in with 820 points and is 12th all-time in scoring at Sage. Her 657 rebounds puts her fourth on the career list. She has also now played in 93 career games at Sage after taking last season off to focus on academics.
