Flower takes home 15th place at AARTFC

Cortland, NY— The Sage Colleges' women's outdoor track and field team opened action on Wednesday night at the 2019 All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference Championships at SUNY-Cortland. Sage's team is directed by rookie head coach David Taranto and assistant coach Spencer Patterson and the pair helped two Gators qualify for this meet, a Sage first.

On Wednesday night freshman Kerry Flower (Schenactady, NY/Schalmont) ran in the 10,000 meter run and finished in 15th place with her time of 40:15.68. The race wraps her stellar rookie season that saw her break several school records while earning Empire 8 All-Star status in the fall in cross country and earn team Gator of the Year honors in track and field.
