Albany, NY--For the second time this season, Sage's goalkeeper has been honored as the league's goalie of the week. This time it is Sage's rookie goalie Brandon Maresca (Landing, NJ/Roxbury) that has been chosen as the Empire 8 Goalie of the Week. Maresca led the Gators with his effort in goal as Sage is now 6-5 overall and 1-3 in the Empire 8.
In net this year, he has worked in all contests and owns a 4-4 record in net with a 12.54 goals against average and a .544 saves percentage. Sage returns to action on April 10 travelling to Hartwick College for a 4 p.m. Empire 8 match. The Gators will be home on April 13 hosting Houghton College at 3 p.m. at RPI's Renwyck Field in an Empire 8 match-up.

Maresca helped the Gators in net collect their first Empire 8 win. For the week, had a 8.67 GAA with 24 saves and 13 goals allowed in 90 minutes of work.
