Phair chosen as Empire 8 Men's Rookie of the Week
Albany, NY—The Sage Colleges' men's basketball team member, rookie forward Stuart Phair (Canberra, Australia/Trinity Christian School) was named the Empire 8 Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week on Dec. 3.

Phair averaged 6.5 points and 3.0 rebounds in a 1-1 week for the Gators. He had four points and three boards off the bench against Stevens, and then registered nice points in the Gators' win over MCLA.
On the 2018-2019 season, Sage is 2-4 overall and 0-1 in the Empire 8. The Gators are back in action on December 4, travelling to SUNY-New Paltz for a 7 p.m. non-conference game. Sage will close out the first semester of action on December 8 hosting SUNY-Delhi at Kahl Gym at 7 p.m.
On the season, Phair has played in all six games and owns a 6.5 ppg average with a 3.7 rpg average. He is shooting 58.3 % from the floor (14-24), while also adding three blocks. On the opening weekend of his collegiate career at Sage, he erupted for 20 points in the team's victory over St. Joseph's College-Brooklyn and also hauled in 11 rebounds.
