Rochester, NY--Sage's women's basketball rookie forward Madasyn Bush (Pottersville, NY/North Warren Central) was named the empire 8 Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week to open her collegiate career. She was instrumental player for the Gators on opening weekend as they went 1-1.
Sage is in action on November 21 hosting RPI at Kahl Gym at 6 p.m. At 5:45 on Tuesday, Sage will also unveil the team's 2016-2017 championship banners in a pre-game ceremony recognizing the successes of last year's team which captured the Skyline Conference Championship and earned an NCAA Tournament berth, the second in the team's history.

Madasyn Bush made her collegiate debut on Nov. 18 and finished with 10 points and six rebounds against Haverford. In the team's win against Penn-State Harrisburg on Nov. 19, she posed her first career double-double as she scored 10 points and hauled in 10 rebounds in the action.
