Men's Cross Country competes at Siena Short Course Race to open 2017 season

Colonie, NY – Sage's men's cross country team opened the new season on Friday evening under the guidance of new head coach, Zachary Williams (Cobleskill, NY). The Gators competed at Siena College's Short Course Race. The Gator men's squad was incomplete.

Competing for the men from Sage was sophomore Jarryd Wick (Ayers, MA/E.F. Parker School) and he had a time of 24:26.0 for the 6 k course and picked up 30th place.

Next up for the teams is competition on September 23 at the Bard College Invitational with the women's race starting at 11 a.m. and the men's race following at 11:45 a.m.
