Voorheesville, NY—Russell Sage College's men's and women's golf teams hosted their Fall Invitational on Saturday at Colonie Golf and Country Club. On the men's side, RSC won the team crown after combining for a 323 for the day, 35 over par besting the four-team field.

SUNY-Cobleskill's senior Ethan Straub (Oswego, NY/Oswego) finished as the medalist after he shot a 75 for the day, just three over par. For the second time on the links in as many weeks, RSC's senior Stuart Phair (Canberra, Australia/Trinity Christian School) shot a 77. He took home second place after finishing just five over par.
Graduate player Blake Pritchard (Malone, NY/Franklin Academy) shot an 80 and finished in third place, while sophomore Austin Carpenter (Peru, NY/Peru) was next after he had an 82 on the day and was fourth. Rookie Shane Kammerman (Cortlandt Manor, NY/Walter Panas) tied for sixth with his 84 and was tied with Gator teammate, senior Aidan O'Neil (Canajoharie, NY/Canajoharie).
Graduate player Ethan Peters (Hudson, NY/Hudson) posted a 20th place showing with his 126forthe day to round out the RSC golfers.
RSC is back in action on September 14 competing at the Elmira College Invitational, with an 11 a.m. start time.
