Albany, NY—The Sage Colleges women's track and field team finally was able to take to the track and competed at the Albany College of Pharmacy Invitational. The meet saw the Sage women picked up a second place finish.

For the Sage women, rookie Mikayla Culnan (Averill Park, NY/Columbia) won the 100 meter dash with her time of 14.36, while senior Krystal Lambert (Brooklyn, NY/John Dewey) picked up a second place finish in 15.33. In the 400 meter dash, freshman Jasmine Rojas (Brooklyn, NY/Juan Worel School) posted a time of 1:28.17 and finished in third place.
Junior Sabrena Smith (Woodburne, VT/Tri-Valley Central) won the long jump with a leap of 4.34 meters and was also second in the high jump with her mark of 1.30 meters. Lambert added a 2nd place finish in the long jump with a leap of 4.29 meters.
Sophomore Logan Thayer (S. Glens Falls, NY/S. Glens Falls) won the discus with her toss of 24.16 meters. She was second in the shot with a put of 8.16 meters.
Rookie Joanna Tavolaro (Broadalbin, NY/Broadalbin-Perth) was second in the pole vault with her leap of 2.05 meters, while she was also second in the triple jump with a mark of 9.35 meters.
Senior Kimberly Craft (Ellenville, NY/Ellenville) posted a toss of 7.58 meters to take third in the shot put.
The Gators will be back in action on April 15 travelling to the Mt. Holyoke Invitational.
