Albany, NY- The NCAA will announce the announce the 64 teams that will be competing in the 2017 NCAA Division women's tournament on Monday, February 27 at 2:30 p.m. Sage earned an automatic bid to the tournament on Saturday afternoon after the Gators won the Skyline Conference Championship by beating top seeded SUNY-Old Westbury, 72-66 in the finals.
Join the Sage women's basketball team and coaching staff as they watch the announcement of the tournament field and find out where and when the Gators will take to the court in the NCAA Tournament! The Gators will gather on Monday, February 27 at 2 p.m. in the Renaissance Room located on the second floor in the Armory at Sage on the Albany campus (130 New Scotland Avenue). The selection show will begin at 2:30 p.m. and players and coaches will be available for interviews prior to and following the NCAA's selection show.
Sage stands at 20-8 on the year and brings a six-game win streak into the NCAA's. The 2017 NCAA Tournament appearance is the second for the program after earning a spot in the 2014 tournament.
