Troy, NY---The Sage Colleges women's volleyball program, which is under the direction of Head Coach Sandy Augstein-Collins, will sponsor a Summer Girls' Volleyball Camp. The camp will take place July 25-29 and is open to girls grades 6-12, as well as 2011 high school graduates and is limited to the first 40 registrants.

The cost for the camp, which will be held in the air conditioned Neff Athletic Center in Troy, is $200 per person. Each participant will receive lunch daily as well as a camp t-shirt and a tournament t-shirt. The Neff Center features three air conditioned volleyball courts.

The Sage Volleyball Camp will offer the opportunity to learn and practice the fundamental skills, techniques, and strategies necessary for the game of volleyball. The camp staff will instruct campers in the latest techniques as well as offensive and defensive systems and strategies. There will also be time devoted to scrimmages and game situations.

Augstein-Collins, brings over 15 years of collegiate head coaching experience to the camp. Prior to coming to The Sage Colleges, she was the Head Women's Volleyball Coach at Union College and at Randolph Macon Women's College. Augstein-Collins has also coached for ten years at the high school level. The camp will feature a highly-qualified staff that consists of high school and college coaches and as well as collegiate players. A certified athletic trainer will also be on staff during all sessions of the camp.

The camp will run daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Monday-Friday, July 25-29 and both registration and drop off will begin 30 minutes prior to the start of the camp.
