Wilson joins 1,000 career dig club at Sage as Gators fend off Bard, 3-1

Annandale-on-Hudson, NY---- The Sage Colleges women's volleyball team traveled to Bard College for a Skyline Conference with the Raptors on Wednesday night. The Gators beat Bard 3-1 (25-16, 23-25, 25-20, 25-16) and improve to 3-14 overall and 2-2 in the league. Bard falls to 4-7 overall and 0-4 in the league.

Junior Kelsey Wilson (Schenectady, NY/Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons) added 25 digs and moved into Sage's 1,000 career dig club with her performance on the night. She now has 1,022 digs and ranks 10th on the career list.

Sage's senior middle hitter middle hitter Nicole Corbett (East Greenbush, NY/Columbia) racked up eight kills with two blocks. She now has 418 career blocks and moving ever closer to the career record of 438 held by Alison Archambault (2000-2003).

Senior middle hitter Michelle DeNisco (New Hampton, NY/Goshen) tallied seven kills with three blocks. Senior Cheryce Harvey (Utica, NY/Thomas R. Proctor) added 18 digs with a kill for the Gators.

The Gators will be in action on Wednesday, October 6 hosting Mt. St. Mary College in a Skyline Conference match starting at 7 p.m. in the Neff Athletic Center.
