Chicopee, MA – The Sage Colleges' women's volleyball team wrapped up action at the Elms College Tournament with a 3-0 win over the host, Elms (25-14, 25-19, 25-18). Sage improves to 3-0 on the season and captures the team title for the second straight year having won the same event in 2013.

Sophomore outside hitter Siena Wilder (Ballston Spa, NY/Burnt Hills Ballston Lake) connected for five kills with three aces and 11 digs, while sophomore setter Rachel Liebig (Hartford, NY/Hartford) connected for 30 setting assists in the action while adding 10 digs.  Another rookie, defensive specialist Missy Schneiderman (Middletown, NY/Minisink Valley) added eight digs.

Senior middle hitter Stacey Forte (Bay Shore, NY/Brentwood) added three aces, while sophomore Michayla Berard (Binghamton, NY/Susquehanna Valley) added five kills.

Next up for the Gators is action on September 5 and 6 at the University of Rochester Invitational. Sage will face St. John Fisher and Oswego State in matches on Friday at 6 and 8 p.m.
