A returning letterwinner for the Gators, Stacey Forte returned to the lineup in 2013 after a year away. In her rookie season with the 2011 Gators, she was named the Sage Rookie of the Year after playing in 119 sets in 35 matches. She had 243 kills with a 2.04 kills per set average while adding 73 digs and 32 total blocks.

In 2012, she served as a member of the U.S. Marine Corp and plans on pursuing a career in the military having already served as a data technician with the USMC.

Her second season with Sage was hampered by an injury suffered in the early part of September and she was only able to play in three matches.  On her career, she has now played in 38 matches at Sage with 245 career kills and 78 digs with 35 total blocks.

A former two-sport performer at Brentwood High School in volleyball and lacrosse, Forte was not only a team captain, but an all-league performer. She also earned all-county scholar-athlete honors and was an honor roll student, ranked in the Top 5% of her graduating class and had perfect attendance in school from 2008-2011.

A Dean’s List student at Sage, she is majoring in public policy advocacy and civic engagement. She is planning on pursuing a career as a Marine Corp JAG and a corporate lawyer. She is the daughter of Joseph and Dalila Forte.
