Troy, NY – The Sage Colleges' women's volleyball team hosted Maritime College and Yeshiva University on Sunday afternoon in a Skyline Conference tri-match. Sage went 2-0 on the day, while Yeshiva went 1-1 and Maritime went 0-2.

Sage def. Maritime, 3-0 (25-8, 25-123, 25-19) and Yeshiva University, 3-0 (25-5, 25-13, 25-7), while Yeshiva beat Maritime, 3-1 (23-25, 25-16, 25-23, 25-22). Sage stands at 11-14 overall and 6-0 in the Skyline Conference, while Yeshiva is 1-6 overall and 1-4 in the Skyline. Maritime is 1-17 overall and 0-6 in the Skyline.

Against Maritime Sage was paced by the play of rookie Michayla Berard (Binghamton, NY/Susquehanna Valley) as she connected for nine kills with two digs and a block assist.   Junior outside Jillian Schwab (Fayetteville, NY/Fayetteville Manlius) had seven kills with three aces and four digs. Sophomore Mickey Mango (Saratoga Springs, NY/Saratoga Springs) added five kills with two aces and a solo and assisted block for Sage as they combined for a .250 hitting percentage in the match. Senior setter Joanie Cooney (Ballston Lake, NY/Shenendehowa) handed out 24 setting assists with four digs and three kills.

Maritime's junior outside Sydney Carella (Greenville, NY/Greenville) paced the Privateers with her six kills, while adding three digs. Senor libero Alyssa Pourmonir (Pittston, PA/Pittston Area) added 10 digs for Maritime.

In the Yeshiva against Maritime match, Maritime's junior Charlotte Acklin (Lewes, DE/West Broward) added 14 kills with nine digs, while Pourmonir added 20 digs. Junior Christine McCormak (Goshen, NY/Goshen) added 21 setting assists with three aces.

Yeshiva's senior outside Sarit Zukowsky (Dayton, OH/Northmont) connected for a double-double with her 10 kills and 16 digs. Senior Kerrin Ast (St. Louis, MO/Clayton) added eight kills with five digs and six aces. Sophomore Emily Rohan (Dallas, TX/Yavneh Academy of Dallas) picked up 29 setting assists with five aces and three digs.

In the final match of the day, Sage's Berard had seven kills and freshman outside Sara Campolieta (Fulton, NY/G. Ray Bodley) added five kills with eight digs. Rookie setter Rachel Liebig (Hartford, NY/Hartford) made the start for Sage and had 23 setting assists with three kills and four digs.

Junior Katelyn Drollette (Cadyville, NY/Saranac) had 10 digs for the Gators and now has 966 career which stands 14th all-time on the Sage career list.

Yeshiva's sophomore Makena Owens (Sammamish, WA/Northwest Yeshiva) had three kills with two digs, while senior Shira Genauer (Seattle, WA/Northwest Yeshiva) added five digs.
