New York, NY---The Sage Colleges' rookie setter Rachel Liebig (Hartford, NY/Hartford) earned Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week honors for the second time this season on November 5.
Liebig averaged 9.29 assists and 2.0 digs over seven sets as Sage fell to Oneonta State (3-1) and defeated Purchase (3-0) to secure the Skyline regular season title…amassed 26 assists and seven digs versus Purchase on Nov. 2…recorded 39 assists against Oneonta State on Oct. 29…named the Skyline Rookie of the Week for the second consecutive week.
She helped the Gators wrap a successful Skyline Conference schedule with a perfect 9-0 record and the top seed in the 2013 Skyline Conference Tournament. Sage will take ot the court on November 9 at 11 a.m. in the SKyline Semifinals at the Fall Festival on the campus of Mt. St. Mary College. The semifinal winner advances to the 4 p.m. championship match.
