Troy, NY – The Sage Colleges’ department of athletics will be sponsoring a number of summer camps for area youths during the summer of 2013. In addition to soccer camps for boys and girls, Sage will sponsor camps for boys and girls in volleyball. In addition, Sage will also be sponsoring a pair of camps for youngsters wishing to learn volleyball, called Volleytots for ages 3-5 and Volleykids for children ages, 6-8.

OBJECTIVES
The Sage Gators’ Advanced Technical Training Soccer Camp is designed to help players develop the essential skills necessary to be successful in today’s competitive game of soccer. This camp is for Girls/Boys Ages 9-17 and will include competitive 1 vs. 1 play, 4 vs. 4 play, skill development, and individual instruction!
The fee per camper is $110. If payment is received before June 28, you will receive a discounted rate of $100.
Additionally, if a family member is an employee of The Sage Colleges, you will receive a discounted rate of $95. If you have more than one child attending camp, the rate per child will be $95 and the applications must be mailed in together. Teams/Groups of 5 or more must be mailed in together and the cost per camper will be $90 prior to June 28 and $100 per kid after that date.

OBJECTIVES
The Sage Volleyball Camp will offer the opportunity to
learn and practice the fundamental skills, techniques, and
strategies necessary for the game of volleyball. Camp staff will
instruct campers in the latest techniques as well as offensive and
defensive systems and strategies. There will also be time devoted
to scrimmages and game situations.
ELIGIBILITY
Boys in grades 6 - 12 are eligible for the camp. 2013 high
school graduates are also eligible. Camp enrollment limited to the
first 40 registrants. The Sage Colleges is offering a volleyball
camp for boys entering 6th—12th grade. All campers will be
placed in skill groups determined by their demonstrated level of
skill.
COST
The cost for the camp is $225 per person. Each participant
will receive lunch daily as well as a camp t-shirt and a tournament
t-shirt.
SCHEDULE
The camp will run Monday - Friday, July 29—August 2
from 9 A.M. to 3 P.M. Registration and drop off will begin 30
minutes prior to the start of the camp.

The Sage Colleges is offering a unique six week long introductory volleyball program that will meet once per week on Saturday mornings at the Neff Athletic Center in Troy, NY on the following dates:
May 25, June 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29.
VOLLEYTOTS - AGES 3-5
This program will be offered from 9:30—10:15 A.M. The cost for this program will be $115 per child.
VOLLEYKIDS- AGES 6-8
This program will be offered from 10:30—11:30 A.M. The cost for this program will be $145 per child.
All participants will be introduced to the concepts of footwork, agility, motor skills, and hand-eye coordination. The fundamentals of volleyball and team participation will also be introduced in a fun and interactive manner. All children, ages 3—8 are eligible to participate in either of these programs.
A multiple child discount is available.
