HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Women's Volleyball began its weekend on Friday night with an Empire 8 Conference matchup at Houghton, falling 3-1 to the Highlanders.
The Gators (12-10/2-4 E8) had two players register double digit kills in the four set match.
Salvione also contributed 19 digs, good for a double-double on the evening, her tenth of the year. Senior libero Katelyn Atchinson (Alplaus, NY/Niskayuna/Saint Rose) was also in double-digits in the digs category, elevating 14 Highlander attacks.
Houghton (9-9/6-0 E8), now winners of six in-a-row, had three players with double-digit kills in the home victory.
The Gators play at Alfred tomorrow afternoon.
