Gators Feature Plenty of Balance vs. Union

ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College had six players register multiple kills in this evening's 3-0 home loss to Union.

Senior outside hitter Macey Salvione (Johnstown, NY/Gloversville) paced the Gators, which had their three-game winning streak snapped tonight, with eight kills and three aces.

Senior libero Katelyn Atchinson (Alplaus, NY/Niskayuna/Saint Rose) led all participants with 16 digs, while setter Emma Rainville (Castleton, NY/Columbia/Binghamton), a grad student, distributed a game-high 17 assists.

Union (2-2), which hit .429 as a squad, received eight or more kills from three different players in the sweep.

RSC (3-2) heads to SUNY New Paltz to face MSMC and the host Hawks tomorrow. 


Gator Bites: A dozen Gators returned to the court in 2024…Salvione, middle hitter Monalissa Carius (Hudson, NY/Hudson), a grad student, and junior middle hitter Aniyah Kelley (Newcastle, DE/William Penn) headlined the group…Head Coach Rosilyn Cummings, now in her second season, added four newcomers including transfers Atchinson and Rainville to the squad.
