ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Women's Volleyball senior outside hitter Macey Salvione (Johnstown, NY/Gloversville) was selected the Empire 8 Conference Player of the Week for the period ending Sunday, September 29.
She registered 43 kills, 43 digs and eight aces to help the Gators have a 3-0 week.
Salvione, also selected the E8 Player of the Week for the period ending Sunday, September 15, begins the week leading the Conference with 216 kills, 45 aces, and 261.5 points. She has tallied double-digit kills 12 times and eight double-doubles this autumn.
The Gators (10-6), winners of four in-a-row, begin E8 play on Wednesday at Hartwick.
