ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Women's Volleyball senior outside hitter Macey Salvione (Johnstown, NY/Gloversville) was announced as the Empire 8 Conference Player of the Week for the period ending Sunday, September 15.

She registered 61 kills, 3.81 per set, 15 aces, and 42 digs across five matches last week. Salvione who tops the Conference with 159 kills and 34 aces, tallied 17 kills on .282 hitting and nine aces in Friday's 3-1 victory vs. SUNY Oneonta.

The senior, now with five double-doubles this fall, began the week ranked second in the Conference with 3.88 kills per-set and 0.83 aces per-set.

RSC (6-6) plays next at Bard on Wednesday evening.
