ALBANY – Sage advances to its second Skyline semifinal in program history after a 3-0 (25-14, 25-18, 25-12) win over Purchase on Wednesday night.

Sage's (15-19) Ryan Guyton (Lockport, NY/Lockport) and Bailey Cecchi (Agawam, MA/Agawam) led the Gator offense and combined for 20 kills and 25.0 points. Chris MacArthur (Hillsdale, NY/Taconic Hills) and Austin Laverty (Schenectady, NY/Mohonasen) each added six points and six kills apiece.

Casey Fitzpatrick (Haverhill, MA/Haverhill) recorded a game-high 35 assists. Fitzpatrick and Guyton led in digs with five and nine respectively.

Sage posted its second highest team hitting percentage of the season with a .485.

For Purchase (12-17), Kevin Carges led the Panthers with 10.0 points and nine kills. Purchase setter Andrew Schwab had 17 assists with Matthew MacCarthy leading with a team-high seven digs.

Sage travels to second seed Ramapo on Fri., Apr. 8 for the Skyline semifinals. The match is set to begin at 7 p.m.
