Last year as a rookie, Bailey Cecchi led the Gators with his 274.5 points off 232 kills with 145 digs. He added a .140 attack percentage with 20 aces. Cecchi was also ranked No. 66 in Division III with his 2.64 kills per set average.
He was named the Skyline Rookie of the Week twice, while also earned acclaim as the ECAC Division III South Rookie of the Week once last year, while adding 1.65 digs per set as well.
Tapped as a team tri-captain, this season came to Sage after earning acclaim at Agawam High School in soccer, skiing, and volleyball. After guiding his volleyball team to numerous titles, he was named the Best Overall Player at the 2014 State Division I Tournament. In skiing, he was part of the three-time division championship team (2011, 2012, and 2013). In volleyball, he added three Western Massachusetts Championship titles to his resume as well as two appearances in the Massachusetts State finals, while guiding the 2013 team to the Massachusetts State Championship.
A business major at Sage, he is the son of David and Laurie Cecchi.
