DANBURY, CT – Russell Sage College traveled to Danbury, Connecticut on Tuesday night for a non-conference match against Western Connecticut State University, falling 3-0 to the Wolves.
The Gators registered seven shots and two corner kicks in the contest. Sophomore midfielder Katelyn Nelson (East Islip, NY/East Islip) led the Gators with two shots on goal on Tuesday night.
Sophomore goalkeeper Olivia Horan (Mechanicville, NY/Mechanicville) (1-3-2) saved 8 shots in the contest.
Western Connecticut State University (4-2-1) had three different goal scorers to come away with the victory.
The Gators (1-3-2/0-1 E8) are back on the pitch on Saturday as they head to Alfred to continue their Empire 8 conference slate.
