New York, NY –The Sage Colleges' women's volleyball team member junior Rachel Liebig (Hartford, NY/Hartford) was named the Skyline Conference's Co-Player of the Week after helping the team to a 3-0 week.

The setter and team captain averaged an impressive 10.3 setting assists per set with a .268 attack percentage. She now has 1,960 career setting assists and is poised to become just the fourth Sage women's volleyball player to achieve 2,000 career setting assists.

On the 2015 season, Sage stands at 12-7 overall and is 2-0 in Skyline Conference play. Liebig has 510 setting assists on the season and has played in all 64 sets while tallying 23 aces with 95 digs.

With their Skyline Conference victories on Saturday over both St. Joseph's (LI) and SUNY-Old Westbury, Sage's Skyline Conference regular-season win streak that has grown to 24 matches and dates back to Oct. 3, 2012. The last Skyline setback for Sage in conference play was a loss on Oct. 3, 2012 (3-1 to Mt. St. Mary College).

Sage will host a pair of non-conference matches this week on Oct. 6 and 8 with 7 p.m. starts in the Neff Athletic Center. Both events will feature a number of promotional events as the Gators host RSC Class Spirit Night on Tuesday and Social Media Night on Thursday. On Tuesday, Sage hosts Bard College and Thursday finds MCLA visiting Sage.

On the season, the teams is ranked nationally in several categories, including No. 87 in team aces (139). Several Sage players also ranked in the latest NCAA Division III statistics release. Liebig is ranked No. 104 in total assists, while standing No. 143 in setting assists per set average (7.97).

Additionally, junior libero Siena Wilder (Ballston Spa, NY/Burnt Hills Ballston Spa) checks in No. 25 in service aces with 42, while her aces per set average is No. 35 (0.74). She is also No. 117 with her 4.7 digs per set average. Wilder has amassed 135 service aces already at Sage and vaulted to No. 8 on the Gator career list.  Wilder leads the team with her impressive 42 aces and has 268 digs in 57 sets played.

Senior middle hitter and team captain Mickey Mango (Saratoga Springs, NY/Saratoga Springs) is ranked No. 222 in hitting percentage (.274), while standing No. 221 in total blocks (44). Mango has 241 career blocks and stands fourth at Sage, while her 632 career kills is No. 9. Mango leads the Gators with her 143 kills with a .274 attack percentage. She also has a team-best 44 total blocks with 16 solo blocks.
