NEWTON, MA – Russell Sage College men's volleyball traveled to Newton, Massachusetts on Saturday for a tri-match against #14 Lasell University and Concorida University Wisconsin, falling 3-0 in both contests.
The Gators had two tally ten or more kills across the two matches. Sophomore opposite Dylan Fox (Albany, NY/Colonie) led all RSC attackers with 14 total kills, while adding eight digs to his statline. Freshman outside hitter John Lindheimer (Albany, NY/Colonie) was also in double-figures in the kills column, tallying eleven and matching Fox in digs with eight.
Freshman setter Anthony Guetti (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) led RSC with 28 assists and added eleven digs across the tri-match. Freshman middle blocker Evan Devine (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) registered seven kills, while senior libero Jack McWilliam (Fishkill, NY/Arlington) tallied seven digs.
The hosting Lasers of #14 Lasell University (8-1) went 2-0 on the day, sweeping each the Gators and the Falcons of Concordia Wisconsin.
Looking ahead, the Gators (0-8) begin their home schedule on Wednesday as they host Dean.
