Gators Fall 3-1 at Bard

ANNANDALE-on-HUDSON, N.Y. – Russell Sage College dropped this evening's non-conference match 3-1 at Bard. The Gators, which received five or more kills from five different players, fell by scores of 25-23, 25-19, 19-25, 25-17.

Sophomore outside hitter Spencer Cooper (Albany, NY/Colonie Central) topped RSC with 12 kills on .360 hitting and six digs.

Junior outside hitter Sean Pingelski (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) added seven kills on .235 hitting, while freshman outside hitter John Lindheimer (Albany, NY/Colonie Central) contributed six kills on .308 hitting.

Freshman setter Anthony Guetti (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) registered 28 assists and senior libero Jack McWilliam (Fishkill, NY/Arlington) tallied 12 digs.

Bard (4-7), which hit .278 as a team across the four sets, had three players record double-digit kills in the home win.

The Gators (3-11) begin New England Volleyball Conference play on Friday at Nichols.
