UTICA, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Men's Soccer battled with SUNY Poly on Wednesday Night in Empire 8 conference action that resulted in a scoreless draw.
The Gators (6-6-2/3-3-2 E8) registered four shots as a group, two coming from senior forward Alessandro Cerbara (Rome, Italy/SS Lazio/Saint Rose), who contributed the lone shot-on-goal for RSC. Forward El Hadji Iba Sy (Bronx, NY/Emma Lazarus), a grad student, also added two shots in the tie.
Freshman goalkeeper Maximilian Bertmann (South Burlington, VT/South Burlington) (6-5-2) saved all six Wildcat shots.
SUNY Poly (7-3-3/2-2-3 E8) outshot Russell Sage 18-4 en route to their third draw of the season.
The Gators are back home on Saturday as they host Keuka.
