Bertmann Chosen E8 Defensive Player of the Week
ALBANY - Russell Sage College Men's Soccer freshman goalkeeper Maximilian Bertmann (South Burlington, VT/South Burlington) was selected the Empire 8 Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the period ending Sunday, October 6.
ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Men's Soccer freshman goalkeeper Maximilian Bertmann (South Burlington, VT/South Burlington) was selected the Empire 8 Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the period ending Sunday, October 6.
The rookie totaled seven saves during the 2-0 week to earn the accolade for the third time this fall. He also was selected for the periods ending Sunday, Sept. 15, and Sunday, Sept. 22. Bertmann, who has a 6-4-0 record, began the week ranked fifth in the Conference with 35 saves.
RSC (6-5-0/3-2-0 E8) hosts Utica on Wednesday night.
