Guilderland, NY---- The Sage Colleges men's golf team wrapped action on Saturday at the Saint Rose Fall Shootout, a two-day tournament held at the Pinehaven Country Club. Division II Bentley captured the team title after shooting a 605 (306, 299) on the 6,496 yard, par 71 course. Sage finished in eighth place with a two-day total of 639 (313, 326). LeMoyne College's Anthony Viskovich was the medalist with his 145 after shooting a 72 on the final round of play.

Sophomore Zach Meade (Tupper Lake, NY/Tupper Lake) finished in seventh place with a 151. He shot a 73 on Saturday after firing a 78 on day one of the event. Junior captain Ian Pingelski (Cohoes, NY/Cohoes) finished tied for 30th (81-80, 161), while junior Dan Schulz (Broadalbin, NY/Broadalbin Perth) carded a 162 (78-84) and finished tied for 33rd place.

Senior Nick Osowicki (Amsterdam, NY/Amsterdam) tied for 42nd place after finishing with a 167 (76-91). Sophomore Rich Christman (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) posted a 178 on back-to-back rounds of 89.

Sage returns to action on Friday, September 16 at the SUNY-Cobleskill Invitational.
