Sage's Jackie Luszczek to assist with TW Broadcast of Siena Women's Basketball
Troy, NY---The Sage College women's basketball coach, Jackie Luszczek will be joining the staff of the Capital Region on Time Warner Cable Channel 3 on Wednesday as she will be doing the color commentary for the live broadcast of the game of the Siena-Binghamton University women's basketball game.
Siena will host Binghamton University on December 2 at 7:00 p.m. and Luszczek will be joined on air by Mike Demos. Demos, is in his fourth season as the voice of Siena women's basketball, and also hosts the team's coverage on 88.3 FM.
Wednesday's contest marks the third time Luszczek will assist with the broadcast of a Siena women's basketball contest on the Capital Region on Time Warner Cable Channel 3.
Sage's women's basketball team will open Skyline Conference play on December 1 as the Gators travel to Bard College for a 6 p.m. match-up and return to action on December 3 with a 6 p.m. conference tilt at Purchase College. Sage will host Farmingdale State College on December 5 in the Kahl Campus Center in the home conference opener at 1 p.m.
The Sage Colleges Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) will be sponsoring a food drive in conjunction with the upcoming basketball games on December 5 and 9. Admission to all Sage contests is Free!
Sage's SAAC is asking fans to bring a non-perishable food item to the games that will in turn be donated to the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York. All fans that donate to the food drive, will be eligible for a Gator Fan Pack to be raffled at each contest.
Amongst the items in the "fanpack" will be items donated by Sage's bookstores, The Bookstore in Albany.
