A Day in the Life of a Sage Men's Soccer Player

By Eric Denny, Sophomore

Representing The Sage Colleges is a tremendous honor!  The season did not start the way that we had expected that it would, in our first five games, we lost four games, and tied one, but have rebounded quite well sense then.  Currently we are 6-5-1, 4-1 in conference play and have only let in 4 goals, while putting in 25 in our last 7 games.

When classes and practice are over for the day, chilling out in my room is probably one of the best feelings after a long day of activities.

Practices are always tough. We do not always have the best practices, but as the season has been going on, we have been improving tremendously.  It starts with our back line, after graduating all four of our previous defenders; our back line is getting used to playing with each other, and playing solid defense.  Playing in front of the fans whether it is at ACP or at the College of Saint Rose is an indescribable feeling! When they're all excited jumping and yelling it pumps us up even more and we try to keep all the excitement up!
