Gators trounce Sarah Lawrence, 7-0

ELIZABETH, NJ – The Sage Colleges' men's soccer team travelled to New Jersey and faced Skyline Conference opponent Sarah Lawrence College. The Gators tallied a 7-0 win as junior Peter Fabrykiwicz (Delancey, NY/Andes) exploded for three goals and seven points in the action to lift Sage to 6-5-1 overall and 4-1 in the league. Sarah Lawrence falls to 2-10 and 0-6 in the conference.

The seven-point effort by Fabrykiwicz ties the mark for most points in a contest with a pair of seven-point performances by senior Gustavo Trinidad (Mamaroneck, NY/Mamaroneck) in 2013 and 2011. Trinidad added three assists in the action on Tuesday, while classmate Jose Miranda (Bay Shore, NY/ Bay Shore) had a goal and two assists for four points to help the Gators to their highest scoring output of the 2014 campaign thus far.  With his three points on Tuesday, Trinidad becomes tied for the Gator all-time scoring mark with Scott Jarosz (2010-2013, 35g, 1a, 71 points).

Trinidad, who set Sage's career assist mark as a junior, now has 29 career assists with 71 career points.

Fabrykiwicz now leads the Gators with his five goals this season, having connected for four goals in the four days alone.

Sage returns to action on October 18 hosting Farmingdale State in a league contest at 6 p.m. at Saint Rose's Plumeri Sports Complex. Sage will hold their Flood the Swamp Night asking Gators fans to wear white to the game.
