GENESEO, N.Y. – Host SUNY Geneseo netted the first nine goals to defeat Russell Sage College 24-5 on Saturday afternoon.
Midfielders Jake McElwee (Jackson, NJ/Jackson Liberty) and Anthony Marrone (Monroe, NJ/Monroe Township), both graduate students, scored two goals apiece for RSC, while freshman goalkeeper Jordon Hankel (Cold Spring, NY/Haldane) stopped 11 SUNY Geneseo shots.
Senior attacker Riley Henselder topped the Knights (6-4/3-0 E8), now winners of six-straight games, with three goals and three assists.
RSC (3-8/0-3 E8) plays next on Wednesday at Hartwick.
