LOUISVILLE – Russell Sage College senior defender Joe Johnson (Gansevoort, NY/South Glens Falls) was selected for the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division III Team of the Week for the period ending Sunday, March 16.
Johnson, who received an honorable mention for the USILA All-American Team last season, had a big week on both ends of the field in three RSC non-conference victories, registering six goals, six caused turnovers and 19 ground balls.
After playing Vermont State University Castleton on Wednesday afternoon, the Gators (3-4) commence Empire 8 Conference play on Saturday at home against Alfred.
