ALBANY, N.Y. – A 19-4 second half run propelled Russell Sage College past visiting SUNY Brockport 75-64 this afternoon.

Senior guard Noah Girard (Glens Falls, NY/Glens Falls) and junior guard Trevor Green (Troy, NY/Lansingburgh/HVCC) topped all participants with 24 points apiece.

Green, who shot 44.4 percent from the field, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out three assists.  He tallied 16 of his points after the intermission to help RSC secure the home Empire 8 Conference victory.

This afternoon's scoring output was a season-high for Girard, nearing the 1,000 career points milestone. The co-captain, who moved into fifth on the program's career scoring list today, made 8 of his 14 field goal attempts, corralled six boards and went a perfect 6-for-6 at the foul line. He averaged 16.3 points and 4.3 rebounds in the 2-1 week. Girard made 47.1 of his shots, including 50.0 percent of his three-pointers across the three games.

"Today was a hard fought win against a really tough Brockport team," said Head Coach Brian Barnes. "Assistant coach Andrew Zibro did a terrific job on the scouting report to prepare our guys for today, especially on such a short turnaround. Trevor and Noah put us on their backs scoring-wise and it was our overall team effort towards our defensive and rebounding goals that made it such an exciting game to be a part of.  I am really happy for our guys."

Senior forward Todd Williamson (Schenectady, NY/Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons) registered a double-double of 10 points on 4-of-8 shooting and a like number of boards. It was the second double-double in the past four games for the co-captain, who netted twin figures for the fifth-consecutive contest.

Sophomore guard Nathaniel Gordon led SUNY Brockport (4-7/2-1 E8) with 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting.

The Gators (9-3/2-1 E8) continue their run of home contests on Tuesday vs. Elmira.
