Springfield, MA---The Sage Colleges' women's men's outdoor track and field team competed on Saturday at the Springfield College Invitational. Worcester State College won the women's team title with a score of 159, while Sage's women's squad did not figure in the scoring.

For the Sage women, rookie Jalissa Adams (Brooklyn, NY/Clara Barton) picked up 11th place in the javelin with her performance of 16.55 meters. In the 100 meter dash, rookie Krystal Lambert (Brooklyn, NY/John Dewey) finished in 19th place with her time of 13.36, while freshman Sharmise Pratt (New York, NY/Urban Assembly for Careers in Sports) picked up 33rd in 16.37.

Freshman Lauren Belfast (Ilion, NY/Ilion) added a 25th place finish in the 1,000 meter run in 5:56.77, while taking 27th in the 400 meter run in 2:49.86.

Next up for the Gators is competition on April 26 at the Capital District Championship, which will take place at nearby RPI.
